Review of CRCIS websites

1. wilayah.com/wilayah.org/wilayat.org[6]

No site on the server in Texas represents the intimate connection between the CRCIS and the Iranian regime better than the 'wilayah' site, described as "The office of Ayatullah ul-Uzma khamenei - qom". It is the official website of Iran's Supreme Leader. The French, Turkish and Urdu sections of the site are on the CRCIS site in the USA, while the Arabic, Farsi and English pages are on the wilayah.ir domain hosted in Iran. See:

2. allahsreligion.com[7]

Certainly the most intriguing of the CRCIS sites, allahsreligion.com is the website of "Islamic Humanitarian Service"[8], and organization operated by an American citizen which runs a 'prison outreach program' in at least two state prisons[9] while simultaneously soliciting donations for Islamic centers and schools in Colombia[10].

Among the offerings on the allahsreligion.com site is a link titled 'Good Advice' and described as "Advice given by the Imam during the Islamic Revolution". During the months that this site has been under observation, the name of the Imam in question has been removed almost completely from plain view. Except for the file's name, that is: khomeini.htm[11]. Over time the site has been stripped of names and identifying information, which is unusual for what purports to be a legitmate charitable organization.

We think it fair to ask the question: do we really want the Iranian regime, a regime that arguably has been at war with the United States since its very creation, conducting a 'prisoner outreach program' in state prison systems across the USA?

5. alsadr.com/alsadr.net/alsadr.org[14]

Site dedicated to the memory of Ayatullah Syed Mohammed Baquer As-Sadr, murdered by the Baathist regime of pre-war Iraq. It contains a painful-to-read translation of a statement from the late Ayatollah Khomeini that concludes:

On this occassion I declare a 3 day mourning for which has be-fallen us pride of HAUZAt-al-Ilmia, and a Marja and a leader in Muslims I ask Allah to grant us strength to withstand such a great calamity and paray that Allah may in future give greater glory to Islam and the He we Kill or get Killes we will be Victorious Ayatullah Ruhullah Khomeini
Imam Khomeini[15]
