The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“The believer is not given to cursing, slandering or obscene and foul speech.”

lol eddy i wouldn't think about that at all so that's pretty deep
but i do feel sorry for the animal

you know what it DOES remind me of, though, when everyone who belongs in hell is placed in hell and everyone who belongs in heaven is in heaven then the ram is brought forth and it is announced - this is death- and then it is slaughtered

*shudder* - may Allah put us all in a good place

(by the way i found this scenario quite poetic and beautiful despite it's fearsome implication)

Yea, it's like 'nice' in a literary way but scary literally, subhan Allah.

You can't feel sorry for the sheep! Or whatever animal it is. Those animals are so docile masha Allah.

Thing is they reminded me of death in that way because I thought back to the time of the Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam where executions were mainly by slaughtering. And that incident of Banu Quraizah... 700 men. Like, how did they do that. Btw, that story always reminds me of bro Abu Hafs, rahimahullah. He loved it .
(I so cannot believe I spelt 'favourite' the amreekan way then)

SubhanaAllah. I saw the craziest thing here when I was at the butcher shop. This cow was just standing there while another cow was being slaughterd next to it. All the while this cow is being hit in the head by a hanging peice of meat from the previous cow that was killed.

All I could think about was how astray the kuffar are...Yes, you read it correctly. I thought about Allah's saying "they are astray like cattle, Nay, even more that that."

SubhanAllah.

This cow is surrounded by slaughter, blood, the sounds of the screams that come out the throught as well as meat of it's own kind swinging from the ceiling close by(enough that it hits this cow in the head when it swings to and fro).

The whole time this cow is just licking its lips and chewing away as if all is well.

If the kuffar are more astray than that, they are indeed in a pittiful state.(I should know...I was once a kaffir.Praise be to Him(swt) for guiding me to Islam).
