also i agree with the whole sunni/shia thing - no need to get into it now- just learn the basics of islam - one god, belief in the prophet, praying, etc. and read up on the differences when you have time (helper gave some links there that might help)

and the prayer being in arabic is true, but you can say something small in it at the beginning (like you can learn 3 phrases or so and say them until you learn more) that is fine

Further to what the sister has advised above, you should also restrict your incoming messages/whispers to sisters that you know personally (only those that have been added on your list) - by selecting the 'Allow Contact from Pal List Only' option.

If such events, similar to what you have mentioned occur in a room, you should immediately alert the admin of the room, asking them to block posts from that individual. If it continues to occur, you can visit the Help Rooms and alert a Paltalk admin - if necessary.

welcome to Islam sis

Dont let things confuse you about the groups and all that (Shia Sunni thing). Learn the conditions of Faith and the basics of the religion and then inshAllah everything else will become clear. You will find you wont need to call yourself a shia or a sunni. That once you believe in Allah and know what the entails and when you believe in Muhammad's SAW message and what that entails, you will realize truth from falsehood inshAllah on your own. Just remember to ask Allah to guide you constantly through this and never stop that even if you think you have been completely guided.
I find going into history and all that from the beginning will lead many a person astray. Keep in mind, if people are telling you to start learning Islam from history and succession of leader issues, than that group of ppl are far from Islam and Allah knows best. Islam is about the oneness of Allah in his existence, in his worship and in the beautiful names and attributes that he has given himself. Anyways, ill keep it short lol, im sure you dont wanna be bored already.

Just remember praying is your first duty to Allah even more than wearing hijab etc. That comes first for a Muslim.

Like you I became a muslim and had many trials in this great journy(and I am sure there are more). Allah(swt) says in the Quran:
"Ahasiban Nassu annyo trikoo annyo kullu amina wa humla yoftanuun, wal laqad fatan al lathina min qabalihim, falaya 'alaman Allahu ladhina sadaqu walaya 'alaman al kathibeen"

"Does mankind think that they will be left alone saying " we believe" and not be tested? We indeed tested those before them, and Allah will certanly make it known those who are the truthful and those who are the liers"

Allah(swt) has given you the greatest gift of all; the truth.

But when we get the truth we should not think that it makes life more simple, no not at all. We are the representitives of the Prophets before us and like them we will be tested. Did Jesus('Isa) have it easy? Did Moses(Musa) have it easy? Did any of the Prophets have it easy? No they did not, but they believed in Allah even when whole nations were against them.

The fact you are being tested is a proof that you are on the true path(and the praise is for Allah alone). Think about it.

I remember when I was not muslim, every time I would go near alcohol no one would say:"hey this is wrong!" When I was getting into drugs no one said:"hey this is wrong!" When I was with woman no one said:"this is wrong!"...But when I became a muslim and my only crime was that I worship Allah alone and I believe that Muhammad(saws) is His messanger, it seems that the world is saying:"hey, this is wrong!!!"
Just as they did with Jesus('Isa) and Moses(Musa) and Aberham(ibrahim).

Take this test and prove to your Lord that you are worthy of the truth like the soldier that we all think you are.
