Default How my Brother Passed

Jazaks everyone for the Duaas for Shakil, please continue whenever you remember.

I thought I would talk a little about the way he passed and some of the events surrounding his death.

so he was told he had Cancer almost exactly a year ago, we were told it was CML, so the only cure is a bone Marrow Transplant but there were some risks involved.

So we did the transplant in Dec, and Alhumdullilah we were able to find a perfect match.

so we do the transplant and we run into problems and he is basically only out of the hospital for like 1 month outta like 6.

Running into all kinds of problems like losing his sight, seizures, can't retain food...there was a time he had to go almost a month with out any solid food.

when he went back in for the last time he had an episode like a day before he went into a coma, he was sleeping, had no energy what so ever all of a sudden he woke up and said "Who is in the Room?" my mother, father, and one of my closest cousins were in the room, but he was used to them, but my uncle was also in the room, so everyone was thinking he was upset that he was there.

anyways my uncle said "its me uncle Anwar" he said Oh cha cha Anwar, and went on saying I see Allah, I see Allah, hes calling me, Give me my glasses, I see Allah, and he said Allah Wakbar 3 times raising his hands each time, said that he was going to die and went back to being quiet.

whats funny is I called about like 30 sec before the episode started and heard it all.

That was a sunday, he went into the coma on Tuesday, and he never got outta it.

the Janaza everyone tells me is the biggest they have seen in the Mauritian Community in Canada in over 30 years of being here...the Mosque was so full people both men and women areas did not have enough room to pray.

We buried him completely by hand (Shovels) No machines, everyone said that was very rare.

He died on Friday we Buried him on Saterday, we did a Quran reading for him 150 people came and we had loads of donations on his behalf, the Imam gave a beautiful speach, everything has gone perfect without glitchs, and for whatever reason I feel no Sorrow, I only miss him, but no sorrow.

a brief discription and i'll end the post as I do realize its getting long.

While he was sick he said that he was happy it came to him and not one of us cause he knew he could take it and one of us probably could not.

during his worst times he would still be looking to aid you in solving your problem and wanted to make sure that we the people around him were happy and had no worries, never bothering to say "Hey I'm the one thats sick here"

that was my Brother....May Allah Cover his faults and Grant Him Junnah

Ameen

May Allah swt shower his mercy upon him, fill his grave with light forgive him his faults, overlook his mistakes and grant him Jannah, AMEEN.

Do you mind me asking how old he was?

Aameen, inshaAllah the time before his death was a major purifier for his sins, so he went like a baby inshaAllah. May Allaah protect us all from diseases and give us long lives so we can do more good and repent from our sins

mashallah- and ameen to the duas.
this kind of reminds me a lot of the posts made by bro on RI about his sister. They were both so young, and yet the way you both descibe their departure-its full of contentness and reliance on Allah. May Allah make us all like that with the same stength of iman when we pass, and shower your brother and your family with mercy. ameen.
